Cottage Homecare NJ LLC holds CHAP’s Pediatric Care at Home certification, an add-on review of how an agency staffs, trains, and supervises care for children. Caring for a child at home is not scaled-down adult care, and the certification exists to hold agencies to that difference.

Cottage Homecare NJ LLC also holds CHAP’s Age-Friendly Care at Home certification, built on the Age-Friendly Health Systems framework — what matters to the older adult, medication safety, mentation, and mobility. It is reviewed by CHAP rather than self-declared.
Federal programs
Cottage Home Care participates in federal health and human services programs, which is what allows Medicaid-funded home care to be delivered through our agencies. It also means our documentation and privacy practices answer to federal rules, not just state ones.
State licence — Maryland
Our Maryland operation is licensed as a Residential Service Agency through the Office of Health Care Quality at the Maryland Department of Health. That licence covers caregiver screening, supervision, and the plan of care behind every visit in the state.
State enrolment — Michigan
Cottage Home Care is an enrolled Home Help agency provider with MDHHS, the department that administers Michigan’s Home Help Program. Enrolment is how a Michigan family’s approved hours can be delivered by our caregivers and billed to the state rather than paid out of pocket.
State licence — Florida
Our Florida agency is licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration, the state body that inspects and regulates home care providers. AHCA licensure is the baseline any Florida family should check for before letting a caregiver into the house.
Membership — Connecticut
Cottage Home Care is a Continuum of Care member of the Connecticut Care Planning Council, a network of elder-care providers, advisors, and clinicians across the state. Membership keeps us connected to the people families turn to when care needs change.
