Cottage Home Care Services was rebuilt by Navin Shivpal just before the pandemic, starting from a small, struggling setup in Queens. Instead of rushing growth, he focused on fixing the foundation—improving care quality, supporting caregivers, and building reliable systems.
From a team of just three, the company grew to over 3,000 caregivers across New York. This growth was driven by investing in people through programs like the Brooklyn Institute of Vocational Training and Care Guide Training Institute, creating real career opportunities.
“This isn’t just about business. It’s about helping humanity,” Shivpal says. By combining workforce development with culturally aligned care, Cottage Home Care continues to expand while staying focused on empowering families and communities.
